Course Description


This 6-month course is designed to take you from beginner to advanced in character modeling and animation for games, film, and animation. You will learn the fundamentals of anatomy, sculpting, texturing, rigging, and animation while using industry-standard software such as ZBrush, Maya, Blender, and Substance Painter. By the end of the course, you will have a fully modeled, textured, rigged, and animated character that showcases your skills and creativity.

Weeks 1–8 - 

Foundations of Character Modeling

Objective

Introduce students to the basics of character modeling, including tools, workflows, and foundational anatomy knowledge. This module lays the groundwork for creating realistic and stylized characters. You'll learn how to navigate 3D modeling software, understand human proportions, and start building simple models.
